Brother, Can You Spare A Click?

I entered a competition a while ago which was seeking to illustrate displaced and/or refugee women working in safety, and found out today that I am shortlisted. The winner is decided by a public vote, and so long story short I need some votes! If you have a spare second please click here and vote for the image of the lady cutting sugarcane. You don’t have to register or anything, and you’ll make me very happy. In addition the shortlist for the competition was judged in part by one of my idols, Pete Biro, who I recommend checking out. His humanitarian work for IRC is very special.

Spare second? Not likely here unfortunately where e-nformation arrives limps in at about 0.5kb/sec. But for such a good cause as this, sitting around for 20mins is worthwhile. Are you going to be in Uganda May/June next year. I am hoping to visit and it would be great to see you if youre there.

    Cheers,

    John
