The Rainy Season

Yesterday I spent the entire day slogging through thick mud on a motorbike on a rural road in Northern Uganda in the rain with Andrew Green trying to reach Pabbo to do a story about the refugees there. We succeeded, getting exactly what we wanted and meeting several brilliant people, as well as buying honey from the Pabbo beekepers, but arrived back in Gulu looking like we’d fought a muck spreader. I hate the rainy season.

It never rains in Kampala, but it does pour!

(Edited to get rid of hoofing great watermark on picture)
