Jobless Millionaires

I’m shooting something at the moment for a Polish magazine on the subject of qat chewers in Uganda, and while I haven’t finished editing everything yet, I quite like this shot. It’s the wall of a place called “Jobless”, a room where chewers congregate. They call themselves the “Jobless Millionaires”, because they live lives of leisure and always scrape by, sharing everything they have with each other despite being broke and unemployed.

The wall at Jobless, with posters of Obama and Gadaffi on opposite sides.

More shots (and better ones) to follow.
