A Saturday Pic Dump (and Bonus Video!)

While I’m working, I snap other things which I find interesting or amusing. These images have very little value as art and I am glad to have this blog as an outlet for them So here’s my best oddities of the past few days.

When the Wind Blows- Villagers outside a small shop in Amuru close their eyes as the wind kicks up dust.

Having tried to photograph these lizards for nearly three years, I managed an OK shot yesterday.

Children trying to get me to photograph them while I was trying to photograph in a school in Paraa. They succeeded.

A bold claim. Actually advertising a website, http://www.howlatthemoon.com, which I haven't visited.

A child and his toy, Amuru.

Portraits of Museveni in a government office.

Don't think of "fruit".

No 'Hurry In Africa' I understand, but 'Vietnum"?!

Two boys and their dog (who was terrified of me) in Lalogi sub-county, Gulu.

Outside UNRA, Gulu.

And as a big bonus, here is (finally) a video of me shouting at a totally unfazed male baboon beside Karuma Falls. In my defence it was about 40 degrees and I had just driven nearly 400km.

This is a superb collection of photos to view whilst drinking a cup of tea, but not if you don’t want lots of choking, tea coming down the nose, dribble/tea’d computer keyboard. Hello – miss you, but glad you’re out there – monkey. Please can you get me one of those prayer cards? Xxd
