A Fungal Extravaganza

About a centimetre tall and growing in shaded sand. Striking colour!

About an inch tall, looking like villi, shaded mossy bank near a stream.

That's a normal size cup and plate next to it! This is termitomyces I think, which my godfather reliably informs me is the world's biggest mushroom and which takes its name from its favoured habitat- termite mounds.
